The post office and village stores closed on 31st March 2019.

The Chequers sell basic village shop supplies along with a few extras:
- Basic daily supplies, such as milk, eggs, bacon, bread and other groceries;
- Basic household products
- Off-Licence
All available from 11:30am or while the pub is open.

- Tuesday – Thursday: 11:30am – 3:00pm / 6:00pm – 11:00pm
- Friday: 11:30am – 11:00pm
- Saturday: 11:30am – 11:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm – 7:00pm

The nearest Post Office counter is located in the Seatons store at Guilsborough (PO counter closed on Wednesday afternoons) & Creaton Village Shop & Post Office (Open Daily).
