Pocket Park Work Session

Saturday 12 July 2025
10:00 to 12:00

Please come and join us for a volunteer work session to keep the park thriving for wildlife and enjoyable for people.

Wear suitable outdoor clothing, wheelbarrow and shovel.

Our stunning meadow is a blast from the past. There are few places in the wider countryside like it. If you'd like to create a garden or community meadow and would some some wildflowers and yellow rattle seeds (known as the Meadow Maker) then let me know. This plant is hemiparasitic feeds of the wild grasses, reducing their strength so creating better conditions for the wildflowers to thrive. Advice given on when and how to sow.
